Renegade Network Marketer Review

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008
by Rosie Cottis

In this Renegade Network Marketer review, Ann Sieg’s controversial ebook is exposed so that you can see if and how it can benefit you.

What is the biggest problem facing most network marketers during the crucial first 3 months of their business? Yes, it’s cashflow.

Many people are drawn into a business opportunity by seeing examples of fabulous wealth but when they sign up, they quickly find out that building a successful business takes time. Around 90% of new recruits will drop out in the first 3 months and it is usually because they have not yet covered their start up costs.

It takes money to set up in a network marketing business, even if you are working part time from home. There are initial costs including a joining fee, supplies, stationery etc and often there will also be ongoing monthly costs for autoshipping or membership. In the first 3 months, many distributors using the old methods find themselves hundreds or even thousands of dollars in the red.

The system that Ann Sieg sets out in ‘The Renegade Network Marketer’ explains how to start bringing money in while you are settling into your business - before you have even sponsored anybody. She exposes the old methods and myths that many uplines are still repeating to their new recruits. You may even be teaching your own downline these tired old ways!

These myths include: everyone is a prospect; you should hassle friends and family to join your business; there is no selling involved; and, you need to work on your motivation if you don’t have the results you hoped for.

I will admit to having some doubts about this ebook before I started reading. Of course, deep down I knew that the network marketing methods that I was taught were mostly out of date, but I was afraid this would be yet another case of MLM bashing. In fact it is not critical of the industry at all, only of the marketing methods that most people are using. Ann Sieg’s attitude is very positive as she sets out her own new methods that allowed her to quickly build a very successful business after many years of struggling.

‘The Renegade Network Marketer’ is sharp and concise. Ann never beats about the bush and even shows how it is possible to make money in network marketing without sponsoring anyone into your main business. She saves the best for last, outlining a clear blueprint for success in the final chapters. On the practical side, you get free membership in the Renegade System where you can put what you have read into practice right away.

Some old style MLMers are probably offended by ‘The Renegade Network Marketer’. Well, maybe they are doing fine without it. But most people are not. If the old way is not working for you and you are ready for a change, take a look. Just click on the link in the next paragraph to take the next step from this Renegade Network Marketer review.

Ann Sieg 7 Lies Of Network Marketing Review

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008
by Rosie Cottis

In this 7 Lies Of Network Marketing review I will let you know exactly what I think about Ann Sieg’s controversial free report.

Ann’s report certainly has stirred up some hot responses across the MLM world. Some are angry, others are enthusiastic. Her biggest supporters are those who are unhappy with their progress in their network marketing business.

Are you struggling with your MLM business? - If so, you are not alone! Take a look at these disturbing statistics:

- Some 90% of distributors will quit within the first 3 months. The most common reason? It’s too hard and too expensive.

- More than 95% will quit within the first 12 months.

- The vast majority of these never even sponsor a single new distributor into their business. If they do manage to sponsor one or two people, in most cases those new recruits quickly drop out.

If you find these statistics disturbing, you are right to feel that way! Ann Sieg has set out in writing what many experienced MLMers have been afraid to say. She exposes all of the myths that we have been taught (and are teaching our downlines) about how to grow a network marketing business.

When I first saw the title ‘The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing’ I must admit that I thought it would be just another MLM basher. But after reading the report, I found it is not that at all. After setting out the ‘lies’ that you should disregard, Ann Sieg goes into how you can actually be successful in network marketing - while ignoring the myths that you have probably been taught.

MLM can be an amazing way to achieve financial success and independence. However, as the statistics show, the vast majority of people give up before they have hardly started. Why? Because they are still being shown methods that went out of date in the 1990s.

“Everybody is your prospect … you don’t have to do any selling … anyone can do this … your business will be built for you …” Do these myths sound familiar? Read this report and see the untruths exploded. Then, click the link in the next paragraph to find out how you really can become one of the 5% who succeed with network marketing.

How To Handle Your Marketing When You Already Have Enough Clients

Friday, June 6th, 2008
by Wendy Hearn

Having plenty of clients at the moment is a great position to be in. However, you know there will come a time when you need to be attracting more new clients. It could be that your current work with clients has been completed or you feel ready to grow your business a bit bigger.

Many business owners when they’re busy with existing clients forget the golden rule that you still need to be marketing consistently. Otherwise it can be too easy to find you’re on a roller-coaster heading quickly into a dip without enough potential clients in the pipeline.

So, how do you go about marketing when you know you’re not in a position to take on any new clients today?

Controlling The Flow Of New Clients Through A Proper Marketing Plan

Often, the influx of new clients can be controlled through the specific marketing tactics employed by your business as part of your current strategy. For example, some tactics are more likely to bring clients on board quickly whereas other tactics are more for the longer-term attraction of clients.

Hence, selecting the right marketing activities will help you to regulate the influx of potential clients. How can this be done, exactly?

There are two types of marketing: push marketing and pull marketing.

Push marketing refers to promotional techniques that are somewhat aggressive. They place the product or service in front of the market to see. They drive attention towards these products and services in a way that will force the market to take notice. Push marketing demands a direct response from people in the target market. Telemarketing is an example of push marketing. Advertising in print publications and on websites are others. Direct selling methods also fall under this category.

Pull marketing, on the other hand, refers to a subtler promotional model. Instead of actively engaging the members of the target market to buy your product or service, you invite them to be aware and remember you, and to consider you at some point. Pull marketing is dedicated to the establishment of a recognizable brand that people will seek out eventually. Word of mouth is the best example of pull marketing. Branding yourself as an expert in the field and mentioning your business in the process is likewise a good illustration of this type of marketing. Developing leads through a sales funnel on your website also falls under this category.

What do these have to do with the dilemma we have discussed?

Basically . . .

  • If you employ push marketing, you’re more likely to get inquiries and orders coming in quicker
  • If you employ pull marketing, expect a lower volume of inquiries and orders initially, but such influx will probably be more consistent and continue for the longer-term.

Therefore at this point in your business employing pull marketing techniques is the best choice as these generally take longer to put into practice and see results with.

Put your focus on tactics that will give you a solid foundation for when you need to ramp up your marketing. So, for example, you may choose to build or work on your website so that it has the relevant information, sales flow and content. Or perhaps building relationships with other people who in time can refer people to you. Perhaps thinking through and writing some articles that can be distributed a little later. Spend the time you have for marketing at the moment getting yourself prepared. By the time you need more clients these foundations may be starting to bring in inquiries or help you to use more aggressive tactics.

To give you a clearer picture of the time needed for certain marketing tactics and the lead time to gain clients, I suggest that you analyze your previous marketing. You need to identify specifically what worked well, what didn’t work and what you can improve on. Also consider the time, money and effort required for each piece of marketing and determine your return on investment so that you can choose the most appropriate ones to use now.

Utilizing The Situation To Build Relationships

What do you need to do when a prospect shows interest but you are too busy to take them on and work with them?

Honesty is always the best policy.

And this is true even when your hands are full with current clients. You need to be honest and communicate with prospects quickly. In other words don’t leave an inquiry just hanging in the air without a response from you. Ahead of time think about the best strategy for your business for handling these inquiries. It could be referring them to another business that can handle their needs immediately. In this scenario it may be that you come to an agreement with this business to both refer potential clients to each other depending how busy you both are.

Or see if the potential client is happy to be placed on your waiting list for when you are free to work with them. Assure them that this will enable you to give them your full attention when you can finally work with them. If they choose this option, keep them regularly updated of likely dates that you can start the work. A quick 5 minute phone call to them every so often, doesn’t take you long and shows that they are still important to your business. Perhaps share with them some ideas of how they can prepare their business for when you’re ready to work with them. There may be paperwork, figures or ideas that they can start collating now.

The Next Steps For Your Business

Although you may think you can’t take on anymore clients at present, I challenge you to brainstorm some possibilities about how you could handle more business. Nowadays, there are many technologies and options available for small and medium sized businesses to help deal with a larger number of clients.

  • Take A Leap To Success By Being Playful.

    Friday, June 6th, 2008
    by Wendy Hearn

What do you hear yourself saying you want to do or have? Are these the same things you’ve thought of many times previously? They may be related to business, career, relationship or personal life. Do you find yourself getting so far and then being stopped? Many things may stop you but number one is ‘you’.

Although you can choose to analyze what this is, think about it and try to understand why, this isn’t usually effective and generally keeps you stuck. What is clear is that something is preventing you from having what you want. It may be a single block or it may be a number of things all rolled into one. There are numerous types of blocks such as lack of clarity, direction or confidence. Others may be your beliefs, your lack of resources and action or even fear of success.

These blocks not only stop us from doing or having what we want, they can also consume an even larger amount of time and energy. Perhaps you think about them quite a bit and worry why you have them. The tendency is to think the block stopping you is too large and would require superhuman effort from you to overcome it. When we feel it’s too big to handle, we tend not to do anything about it. So the block stays there and you feel frustrated you’re not moving ahead as fast as you want.

Perhaps you want to write a book and you may feel blocked about writing, even putting pen to paper. Perhaps you want to stand in front of people and speak or do presentations and this block may represent a lack of confidence. Perhaps you want promotion in your job and your block is your lack of managerial or leadership skills. Whatever it is, there is an easy way to go beyond it.

We tend to be so obsessed with waiting till we know the perfect course of action that we never move beyond this point. We believe if we think about it sufficiently we’ll be sure we know what we need to do. The difficulty with this approach is that we use a lot of time and energy thinking, and still don’t get to the point of decision.

All the thinking in the world doesn’t replace the knowledge you gain from actually doing something. Only then will you know whether something works and is right for you. Instead of thinking about the block, what causes it and why you haven’t overcome it, allow yourself to have some fun as you play with and experiment with ideas and who you need to be.

Imagine what it would be like to keep moving forward instead of getting so far and stopping. Let your particular obstacle be something you’re going to play with. Choose to experiment each week with a new idea, a different approach, even an outrageous one. The key is to keep taking action and playing rather than be bogged down and achieving nothing. Blocks usually stop people dead in their tracks and you have to keep moving and not allow it to stop you.

Imagine a pile of children’s building blocks and take one piece at a time to play with. One day it may be a middle brick you play with which causes half the pile to fall down. You never know which piece will really make the difference.

Instead of looking at all these things and trying to think your way through them, you need to keep playing. Focus only on the part that is unfolding now; don’t rush ahead in your mind and try to work out what may be needed or what obstacle may come up next. Be in the moment. As we rush ahead in our mind, more obstacles may come up and again this may stop you. You don’t need to understand it - just stay with it.

What I want for you is to play, experiment and stay with whatever stands in your way.

The Many Choices From Your Coffee Shop

    Thursday, June 5th, 2008
    by Karyn Lewis

Going to a nice coffee shop, you will definitely notice all the selection on the menu. It can be intimidating though if you aren’t familiar with some of the basic terms. Once you understand them though you can decide if you want to try something beyond just a cup of coffee plain or with some flavoring in it.

However, if you understand a few terms then figuring out what is available on the menu won’t be so difficult. You can take a chance and order something you may find to be delicious without hesitating. If the coffee shop is very busy it may be hard for the staff to take the time to explain it all to you. If you need their assistance try to ask questions during slower times of the day.

If coffee seems a bit harsh to you unless it is doctored with lots of cream and sugar, then try a cappuccino. This is a very smooth and great tasting drink you will enjoy. The main ingredients are espresso, steamed milk, and froth. There are also a variety of flavors including French vanilla you can add. There are single and double sizes of cappuccino available at most coffee shops.

The latte has a great sound to it and you will hear those in line before you ordering it again and again. It contains mostly steamed milk with some espresso inside of it. This too comes in a variety of different flavors for you to enjoy. You can choose to have it stronger by getting a double shot of espresso in it.

Froth is what you will find at the top of the latte. You can get it on other types of drinks too if you ask for it. This is a very light and foamy top that tastes delicious. If you haven’t tried it before you are really missing out on a treat. Pamper yourself and order something with froth the next time you get to a coffee shop.

If you are looking for something with a sweet taste, then why not try a mocha. This is where you will find a chocolate taste added to your drink. This is a hit for those who really like hot drinks as well as anything chocolate. You may have to try some different locations though before you find a mocha that you are really happy with the flavor of. They don’t all taste the same though so don’t give up.

An espresso is another term that you will see quite a bit in coffee shops. This is a very strong type of coffee. It is dark and thick and many people order it in order to give them the caffeine they need to get their day going. You will find many drinks in coffee shops have espresso. It won’t be uncommon to see signs that you can add another shot of it too for an additional price.

Now that you know the basics of what you can order from a coffee shop, you can try some new things. You can keep track of what you really like so you can order your favorites again and again. Have some fun at the coffee shop instead of going with what you know is safe day after day.

Creating A Brochure For Your Bed & Breakfast

    Thursday, June 5th, 2008
    by Patti Rob

There are many different modes of advertising you can turn to in order to increase reservations at your bed & breakfast. One of them is to create a lovely brochure with all of the important details in it. You also want to provide readers with pictures that show them the outside and the inside of it.

There are certainly many ways you can go about doing so all on your own. If you have a computer and some basic skills it won’t be any problem. Most software programs walk you through each step. They offer easy to follow templates so you can change things around until you are absolutely sure that is how you want the layout to be.

If you want to have a professional do it, you may find it is more cost effective to work with a freelancer. You can find one locally or online and they can do a terrific job for you. Regardless of who you use, make sure all of the details of the project are in writing. This should include what will take place, how many brochures they will provide, the deadline for completing the work, and how much you will pay them.

There are unlimited options when it comes to making a brochure for your bed & breakfast. The finished work can be very elegant or simple yet polished. Make sure all the details of where the location is and how to contact you for a reservation are on there. If you have a website they can visit give that URL as well. Before you distribute the brochures make sure they are carefully evaluated.

Don’t forget how important it is to check over spelling and grammar in your bed & breakfast brochure. Readers will notice such issues and it can damage your credibility. They may not view you as owning a professional business that can meet their needs. They may assume that if you don’t pay attention to such details you aren’t going to take the time to care about them either.

You can be very creative with a brochure for this type of business. You can even ask some of your guests to be in pictures for it. Adding some great testimonials from happy guests can be helpful as well. If you want to be able to track how effective your brochures are, offer a discount with it and a promotional code that has to be used.

Be creative about where you can find display your brochures for the business as well. Try do to so where people commonly travel in your area. Restaurants and convenience stores are a great place to ask about doing so. If you see large displays of brochures then definitely ask if yours can be placed among them.

A brochure is a very inexpensive yet effective tool you can use to market your bed & breakfast. The more you work to get exposure the more guests you will have staying with you. Empty rooms mean less profits so do all you can to get people to see what you have available.
