Trade Shows-Getting The Best Results

Trade shows are certainly a great ways to showcase ones new and older products. Lead gerneration is one of the main reasons for trade shows. One also can not only show case news product, but it gives you the opportunity learn and gain competitive insight on your competition. There are simple goals that one can take to make a successful trade show. You should look to show case new product, strengthen existing client relationship and last but not least gain leads. Leads could eventually turn into sales. Here are few sample goals below:

1-Take advantage or preshow mailers which can help in bring attendees into your booth

2-Provide marketing material all with simluar therme

3-Your should have a complete marketing plan and some sort of strategy to measure your returns

4-One should now have an exhibit booth built around the marketing plan you have in place. Do not put the horse before the carriage. Marketing plan first then trade show booth

6-In relation to your booth theme, make sure and provide giveaways. Do not give-away items unrelated to your booth theme or your company product. IPods giveaways will not do if you make car rims

7-Order all show services before the documented discount deadlines. The discount is a great way to keep cost down. Watch for these deadlines, they are worth it

8-If time permit ship your booth and literature to advance warehouse. The cost is a little more but well worth it. Your booth and components will be waiting for you on the floor prior to set, it a lot less stressful

9-Make sure your company name and graphics are well done, this can be one of the worst thing to have on the show floor, make it powerful and full of life

10-Make your trade shows fun, more interesting people are at these shows form all over the world, take advantage of this and mingle

Be realistic with your goals and expectations at these shows. There are many trade shows all over the world try to attend more than one per year just to keep your company name out in the industry
